The art of Kintsugi 「金継ぎ」(join with gold) is part of the Zen aesthetic, where broken pieces of an accidentally broken cup is carefully reassembled then joined with lacquer and gold powder. The point is to repair the item to be beautiful and strong. The precious veins of gold are there to emphasise that the breaks have a philosophically rich merit all of their own. This fragrance is to honour that sentiment which kintsugi carries with it.

Candle Safety Tips:
Trim the wick to ¼ inch before each use to prevent high flames and soot.
Place candle on a stable, heat-resistant surface away from flammable objects.

Avoid drafts. Do not place candles near open windows, fans, or air vents.
Never leave a lit candle unattended.
Keep candle away from curtains, bedding, books, and other flammable items.
Use a snuffer or gently blow out the flame. Do not use water, which can cause hot wax to splatter.
Check wicks to ensure it is fully extinguished.
Do not touch or move the candle until the wax has completely cooled.
